September 2016: CIBAC received Changsha CPPCC’s visit to Toronto​​ & York Region

In September 2016, Zhong Xinlian, Vice Chairman of Changsha Municipal People's Political Consultative Conference, led a delegation​​ of government​​ officials​​ to visit​​ Markham.​​ CIBAC warmly received the delegation and accompanied the group to the meetings with Alan Ho, City of Markham Councillor, Joe​​ Li,​​ Markham Regional Councillor,​​ Mario G. Racco,​​ former MPP​​ and​​ Tony Luk, Chairman of​​ Canada-China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.​​ Both sides expressed their strong willingness to strengthen the economic and trade development between China and Canada.
