2019 QingDao International Expo
In October 2019, Chinese Business Investment Alliance of Canada (CIBAC) organized a delegation to the Qingdao International Sister Cities Commodities Fair. Year 2019 the 40th anniversary of Qingdao's international friendship city expedition, and Qingdao City cooperated with the Shandong International Friendship City Cooperation Conference to invite representatives of international friendship cities from all countries to display special products and cultural travel information. There were on-site procurement negotiations with major supermarkets in Qingdao, international trading companies, and cross-border e-commerce activities. The exhibition operated from October 17 to 20 in the down town city area of Qingdao.
Mr. Fanli Meng, Mayor of Qingdao, visited the exhibition hall. He was at the booth of CIBAC and showed his appreciation. He understands the nutritional value of maple syrup, a special food product from China. Ms. Emily Wang was at the Canada booth to receive Mayor Meng.
From Markham, Canada, Pi Electronics Electronic technology exhibited high-quality electronic audio-visual products and were well received by visitors.

Chinese Business Investment Alliance of Canada (CIBAC) has set up investment booths for members at the exhibition, contacting trading companies in Shandong Province and cross-border e-commerce.
In addition to the merchandise exhibition, the exhibition organizers also arranged five special economic and trade promotion conferences, as well as representatives from various countries to promote their image and cultural tourism characteristics.
