September 2016: CIBAC received Changsha CPPCC’s visit to Toronto & York Region
In September 2016, Zhong Xinlian, Vice Chairman of Changsha Municipal People’s Political Consultative Conference, led a delegation of government officials to visit Markham. CIBAC warmly received the delegation and accompanied the group to the meetings with Alan Ho, City of Markham Councillor, Joe Li, Markham Regional Councillor, Mario G. Racco, former MPP and Tony Luk, Chairman of Canada-China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. Both sides expressed their strong willingness to strengthen the economic and trade development between China and Canada.
